5Haupt-Volksversammlung in dem Theater; von den Vorsitzenden leitete die Abstimmung Dra-
6kontides S.d. Lonikos aus dem Demos Aphidna und seine Mitvorsitzenden. Beschluss von Rat
7und Volk; Lakrates S.d. Mentor aus dem Demos Perithoidai stellte den Antrag: Da Kle-
8archos wohlwollend ist insgesamt gegenüber dem Volk und speziell gegenüber den nach
9E- - kommenden Bürgern; - - -
10und hierüber ihm Zeugnis abgelegt wurde von mehreren
11Bürgern; – Da es dem Volk Tradition ist, die guten Menschen zu ehren,
12zu Glück und Heil!, wolle beschließen der Rat: dass die Vorsitzenden, die zum Vorsitz
13für die kommende Haupt-Volksversammlung erlost werden, hierüber verhandeln lassen und die
14Beschlussvorlage des Rates in die Volksversammlung einbringen, wonach der Rat es für gut befindet,
15dass man belobige Klearchos S.d. T- - und bekränze mit einem
16Olivenkranz wegen seiner Leistung und seines Wohlwollens gegenüber dem Volk der
17Athener; dass man ihm auch das Bürgerrecht verleihe nach Prüfung in
18dem Gerichtshof gemäß dem Gesetz - - -

6Drakontides son of Lonikos of Aphidna was putting to the vote, and his fellow presiding committee members. The Council
7and the People decided. Lakrates son of Mentor of Perithoidai proposed: since Klearchos
8is well-disposed collectively to the People, and individually
9to citizens coming to E- -
10and evidence of these things has been given by a number of the citizens,
11and it is ancestral custom for the People [to honour good men];
12for good fortune, the Council shall decide, that the presiding committee allotted to preside
13at the forthcoming Assembly shall put these matters on the agenda, and submit
14the opinion of the Council to the People that it seems good to the Council
15to praise Klearchos son of T- - of - - -, and crown him with a foliage
16crown for his excellence and his good will towards the People
17of the Athenians; and he shall also be granted citizenship, having been scrutinised
18in the court in accordance with the law - - -
